So in process of starting to create my own portfolio site Ive been researching some other portfolio sites and have posted them below...I'm really looking for something very simplistic while also standing out at the same time :)
http://www.minamarkham.com/
http://www.paulfoxdesign.co.uk/
http://www.adriannewell.co.uk/
http://www.louisbeaudoin.net/
I really dig how clean these portfolios are...I want my portfolio to be clean yet not too simple at the same time...I would like to merge a very clean layout with some modern twists. Comments Appreciated

Interact Poster
Here is a screen grab of a completely different poster for tomorrow's critique...I tried to play around with less information, completely different style...i added to mine and alysia's slogan of "here's a hand you can trust" and decided to incorporate the positive imagery within these hands that you can trust. I still used Interact's color scheme while making the information legible...comments appreciated :)

For Today CD Booklet Revisions
So for portfolio, One of the pieces I've currently been working on is my CD booklet. The original fonts I had used I lost so i replaced the titles and song list page with a font that was very similar to the original one i had. The font that i have for my interior pages is completely different but I actually like it better. I think its a little more legible and really expresses more of the handwritten journal feel that i was going for verses having an "inked" style font. I also added a few imagery to go along with my booklet...Comments Appreciated!!

Web Design Project 3 Process
Here is a revision of my original homepage. I tried to play around with a different color scheme and also a more funky layout version. Is it working? Is it not working? Is my original color scheme more better suited for the knitting concept? Comments Appreciated :)

Web Design_Project 3
Hey guys,
So for my current Web Design Class we are partnered up in the class We have the role of experiencing being the client as well as the designer. My client is looking to have a website that has easier navigation for well experienced knitters who are looking to find patterns of items that they would be interested in knitting. Shown below is one of my ideas/sketches for my homepage.

As you can see it will be easier to navigate...if you want to knit different type of hats you will click on the hat image, if gloves you'll click on the gloves image and so on...then from there it will direct to a page of all the available items. So if you click on the hat image the next page will not only list the name of the pattern but it will provide an image of what the final product will look like so you know if you would be interested in knitting that item or not...verses having to flip back and forth between pages. Overall I think I'm off to a good start with my clients webpage.
Comments Appreciated
